With a robust pipeline of high-profile healthcare work on the horizon, including several major hospital projects, they are seeking an accomplished construction leader to oversee these critical assignments, drive project success, and serve as a key partner to clients, stakeholders, and project teams from preconstruction through completion.Job DescriptionCommercial Superintendent - Key Responsibilities:Provide on-site leadership and foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, quality, and operational excellence throughout all phases of commercial construction projects.Manage daily field operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and achieve project milestones.Lead subcontractor and site coordination meetings, proactively addressing challenges and driving project progress.Develop and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules, ensuring all trades are properly sequenced and aligned with project objectives.Monitor quality control efforts and oversee inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and company standards.Identify and resolve field-related issues, working collaboratively with project management, design teams, owners, and trade partners to maintain project momentum.Manage site logistics, material deliveries, manpower planning, and jobsite organization to support efficient project execution.Maintain accurate daily reports, track project progress, and communicate schedule impacts, safety concerns, and field conditions to key stakeholders.Serve as the General Contractor's primary field representative, building strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
