About Our Client

An established, employee-owned commercial construction firm with a strong reputation across the Southeast is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to support a pipeline of high-profile projects. The company delivers a diverse portfolio of commercial projects across the multifamily, senior living, healthcare, higher education, retail, light industrial, interior renovations, and ground-up construction sectors, providing long-term project opportunities throughout the region.

Job Description

  • Lead all onsite construction activities from preconstruction through turnover
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules
  • Enforce safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
  • Manage project quality control and ensure work meets contract requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to address schedule, budget, and coordination challenges
  • Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with stakeholders
  • Support successful project delivery while maintaining client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience leading commercial construction projects valued at $50M+
  • Experience with Senior Living, Multifamily, Student Housing, Hospitality, or similar residential-style developments
  • Strong background managing ground-up construction projects
  • Stable work history demonstrating career progression with reputable contractors
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability and desire to travel throughout the Southeast region
  • Proficiency with construction management technology and project scheduling tools
