Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - MD will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the successful execution of construction projects by managing daily field operations and site activities.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules and productivity.
  • Monitoring workmanship and quality standards to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and industry requirements.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture by enforcing site safety procedures and participating in audits and safety meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate daily reports, labor tracking, and project documentation.
  • Assisting with project closeout activities, punch list completion, and turnover processes.
  • Coordinating inspections and ensure timely resolution of identified deficiencies.
  • Communicating project progress, challenges, and schedule updates with project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Helping develop and mentor field personnel while fostering a collaborative jobsite environment.
  • Taking ownership of smaller projects as experience and responsibilities grow.

The Successful Applicant

The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - MD should have:

  • 5+ years of superintendent, assistant superintendent, or field leadership experience within commercial construction.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing daily site operations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
  • Experience with commercial interior projects is highly preferred.
  • Motivated professional seeking long-term career growth within a stable organization.
