Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Managing all on-site construction activities for commercial interior, secure-space, and government-related projects.
  • Leading and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules to achieve key milestones and deadlines.
  • Enforcing safety standards, quality requirements, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Conducting regular site walks, inspections, and punch list management to ensure exceptional project delivery.
  • Reviewing construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and resolving field-related challenges.
  • Coordinating material procurement, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Acting as the primary on-site representative for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Partnering closely with Project Managers to manage scheduling, budgeting, and project performance.
  • Traveling to project sites as required to support successful project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial interior construction.
  • Experience supporting SCIF, secure-space, federal, defence, or highly regulated projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, subcontractor management, site safety, and quality control.
  • Experience using Procore and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Vista, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification with company support.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and step into projects with a "hit the ground running" mentality.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
