Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial Renovations - Maine will:

  • Manage all interior construction activities for a $15M community living facility renovation consisting of two buildings.
  • Lead day-to-day field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues to maintain timelines.
  • Collaborate with project leadership and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Support future projects primarily located within one hour of Portland, Maine.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Commercial Renovations - Maine should have:

  • 5-10 years of construction experience.
  • Experience working for a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven superintendent or field leadership experience on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong background in renovation and interior fit-out work.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Augusta, Maine and throughout Southern Maine as needed.
