We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead ground-up and renovation restaurant construction projects throughout the Louisville, Kentucky region. This role is responsible for managing field operations, coordinating trade partners, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within quality expectations.

Job Description

  • Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilisation through project completion.
  • Lead daily field operations for restaurant construction and renovation projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to drive communication and project execution.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure work complies with contract documents and company standards.
  • Enforce all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment for project teams.
  • Identify and proactively resolve project challenges to minimise schedule impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, clients, and inspectors.
  • Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
  • Track site productivity and support cost-control initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and construction records.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Experience managing restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar fast-paced commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.
  • Experience managing project schedules and driving successful project delivery.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management technology and reporting tools.
  • OSHA training or comparable safety credentials preferred.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
