Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial will:

  • Supervise daily on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and construction teams to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and logs.
  • Manage materials and resources to prevent delays and minimize waste.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Commercial should have:

  • Experience with managing commercial building and construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
