Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial will:

  • Lead all field operations from project startup through closeout.
  • Manage subcontractors, self-perform crews, suppliers, and inspections.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate daily jobsite activities while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Serve as the primary onsite representative for owners, architects, and consultants.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.
  • Conduct project meetings and proactively resolve field challenges.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and communication with project stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Commercial should have:

  • Proven Superintendent experience within commercial building and construction. (around Milwaukee desirable)
  • Experience managing ground-up projects, additions, and major renovations.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously.
  • Ability to successfully manage self-perform crews.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional, team-oriented leadership style.
  • Experience in industrial, healthcare, commercial, financial, or institutional construction is highly desirable.
