Job Description

The Superintendent will report to the Project Executive and Project Management team while maintaining responsibility for the successful field execution of assigned projects. The Superintendent will play a critical leadership role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination and scheduling activities.
  • Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Drive project schedules and identify solutions to maintain milestones.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure workmanship meets expectations.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and consultants.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent we are seeking:

  • Previous experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial construction projects.
  • Experience delivering projects within education, healthcare, office, or commercial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.
  • Proven ability to lead subcontractors and field teams effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of construction safety requirements and best practices.
  • Experience utilizing scheduling and construction management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Stable career history with a reputation for delivering successful projects.
