Job Description

The responsibilities of a Superintedent:

  • Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial interior, SCIF, and federal construction projects.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor and enforce quality control standards and safety compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections and manage project punch list activities.
  • Review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and field coordination issues.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Travel to project sites as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintedent should have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
  • Commercial interiors experience required.
  • Experience with SCIF, secure-space, federal, or defense-related projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality control.
  • Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Experience with Vista preferred.
  • Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (company will assist qualified candidates in obtaining certification).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to step into projects and immediately add value with minimal ramp-up time.
