Job Description

The Superintendent - Federal/Mission Critical - Gaithersburg, MD will be responsible

  • Oversee daily construction activities and jobsite operations from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain schedule and quality standards
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and secure facility requirements
  • Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and communicate updates to leadership
  • Maintain documentation including daily logs, schedules, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project milestones and expectations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Federal/Mission Critical - Gaithersburg, MD should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3-8+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience
  • Background in federal or commercial construction projects strongly preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
  • Experience working in secure or mission-critical environments is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
