With more than 30 years of industry experience, the company specializes in soil and groundwater remediation, dewatering and treatment systems, industrial decontamination, hazardous waste handling, underground storage tank removals, emergency response services, and environmental construction solutions.Job DescriptionField Leadership & Operations ManagementLead and manage daily field operations across multiple environmental remediation and construction projects.Direct field crews, equipment operators, laborers, subcontractors, and specialty trade contractors.Develop daily and weekly work plans to maximize productivity and maintain project schedules.Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources.Ensure all field activities are executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements.Maintain effective communication between field operations, project management, clients, and regulatory representatives.Environmental Remediation OperationsSupervise projects involving:Soil and groundwater remediationExcavation and off-site disposalIn-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO)In-Situ Stabilization/Solidification (ISS)Dewatering and mobile treatment systemsHazardous and non-hazardous waste handlingUnderground Storage Tank (UST) removalsIndustrial decontaminationEmergency environmental response servicesSite restoration and environmental construction activities.Safety & Regulatory ComplianceChampion a proactive safety culture and maintain compliance with OSHA, HAZWOPER, and company safety requirements.Conduct daily safety briefings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and site inspections.Ensure proper handling, transportation, and disposal of contaminated materials.Maintain compliance with environmental permits, remediation work plans, and regulatory agency requirements.Investigate incidents, identify corrective actions, and implement preventative measures.Project Execution & SchedulingMonitor production rates and workforce performance to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.Coordinate equipment utilization and material deliveries.Identify and resolve field issues that could impact project performance.Assist Project Managers with schedule updates, cost control initiatives, and resource planning.Support startup, system commissioning, remediation operations, and project closeout activities.Client & Team CoordinationServe as the primary field representative for clients, consultants, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.Mentor and develop field personnel while promoting accountability and teamwork.Foster strong client relationships through professional communication and operational excellence.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate daily reports, production tracking logs, safety records, and field documentation.Document project progress, site conditions, equipment usage, and labor activities.Assist with quality control inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout documentation.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantRequired Qualifications7+ years of field supervision experience in environmental remediation, environmental construction, industrial services, heavy civil construction, or related industries.Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors on active project sites.Strong understanding of excavation, remediation, dewatering, contaminated soil handling, and environmental field operations.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work plans, specifications, and environmental reports.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout the region.Preferred QualificationsHAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.Experience with groundwater treatment systems, remediation technologies, and hazardous waste operations.Knowledge of NJDEP, PADEP, EPA, and related environmental regulations.Experience managing emergency response and industrial remediation projects.Key AttributesSafety-first leadership mentality.Strong organizational and planning abilities.Ability to make effective decisions in the field under changing conditions.Team-oriented approach with strong people management skills.High level of professionalism and accountability.Commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction.What's on OfferCompetitive compensation package with performance incentives.
