Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Leading all field operations on large-scale ground-up industrial and warehouse construction projects.
  • Managing project execution from site mobilization through final turnover and closeout.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure schedule and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Driving site safety initiatives and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring daily construction activities and proactively resolving field challenges to minimize delays.
  • Collaborating closely with project management teams to maintain project budgets and timelines.
  • Conducting progress meetings and communicating updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensuring workmanship meets quality expectations and contract requirements.
  • Mentoring and developing site personnel while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Utilizing construction management software, including Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office, to support project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Superintendent should have:

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing ground-up industrial/warehouse and multifamily construction projects.
  • Proven track record delivering projects valued at $50M-$60M+ from start to finish.
  • Previous experience working for a general contractor on large-scale commercial or industrial developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and site operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce site safety programs and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing subcontractors and field teams.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and results-driven personality.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and other construction technology platforms.
