Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and manage all daily onsite construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractor teams to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Ensure projects meet schedule milestones and are delivered in alignment with budget and design intent.
  • Implement and enforce jobsite safety plans, conducting regular inspections to ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Drive site logistics, including delivery coordination, manpower allocation, and sequencing of construction activities.
  • Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation using Procore and other project management tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Consultants, Ownership, and Inspection Authorities to resolve field-related challenges.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance walkthroughs and proactively address any issues impacting workmanship or materials.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Superintendent will have:

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or lead field manager on ground-up multifamily projects.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, ordinances, and safety regulations applicable to multifamily construction.
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software such as Procore and Primavera P6 (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades, resolve onsite conflicts, and lead complex building operations independently.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
