Job Description

The responsibilities of a Superintendent:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projects.
  • Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, and project schedules.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate site logistics, quality control, and inspections.
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety programs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and trade partners.
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively address project challenges.
  • Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate sequencing of work.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and field records.
  • Drive successful project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Superintendent should have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Superintendent.
  • Proven ground-up construction experience required.
  • Experience overseeing projects valued at $20M+.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of the following project types:
    • Multifamily / Apartment Buildings
    • Healthcare / Hospital Facilities
    • Libraries
    • K-12 Schools
    • Higher Education Facilities
  • Strong leadership, scheduling, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractor teams.
