Job Description

The Superintendent - Healthcare - Mclean, VA will be responsible for:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction projects
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site logistics
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to track progress, costs, and quality
  • Lead site meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Manage projects primarily across Northern Virginia, DC, and surrounding areas
  • Handle both base building and interior renovation scopes up to $60M+

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Healthcare - Mclean, VA should have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in construction management roles
  • 1-3 years of healthcare project experience required
  • Proven experience leading at least one project as a Superintendent
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and safety practices
  • Experience with all major construction trades (concrete, steel, interiors, etc.)
  • Ability to independently manage project schedules and field operations
  • Familiarity with construction software such as Procore and Microsoft Project
  • Experience on projects valued at $30M or below (ground-up or interior) preferred
