Job Description

The Superintendent - High-End Interiors - Bethesda, MD will be responsible for:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations for interior construction projects
  • Lead projects from preconstruction to closeout.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, field staff, and schedules
  • Handle project layout and ensure accuracy alongside foremen
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce strict jobsite safety standards
  • Maintain daily reports and documentation in Procore
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project success
  • Manage sequencing and scheduling, including 3-week lookaheads
  • Lead and participate in OAC meetings with clients, architects, and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and design teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - High-End Interiors - Bethesda, MD should have:

  • 3+ years as a Lead Superintendent running projects from start to finish (for Super roles)
  • 3+ years as an Assistant Superintendent with some independent project experience (Assistant level Super)
  • Background in corporate interiors, ideally high-end or law firm spaces
  • Proven experience managing projects ranging from $500K-$40M
  • Strong knowledge of Procore (daily reports required; scheduling is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for scheduling and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage jobsite safety and enforce best practices
  • Strong communication skills working with PMs, subcontractors and clients
  • Open to travel is a plus (per diem offered for travel roles)
