Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Leading all onsite construction activities for a complex historic renovation and addition project.
  • Managing day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics.
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Monitoring project schedules and drive on-time completion of key milestones.
  • Coordinating inspections, permitting requirements, and project documentation.
  • Resolving field challenges proactively to keep the project on track.
  • Delivering a successful project outcome while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
  • Proven experience delivering renovation, addition, or historic restoration projects.
  • Experience managing projects valued up to $10M preferred.
  • Prior project experience in Loudoun County or the Northern Virginia market is advantageous.
  • Stable career history demonstrating strong tenure with reputable general contractors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • Preference for candidates who have progressed through field operations and construction ranks.
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage multiple project priorities.
