Carolinas based GC that's been in operation for 20+ years locally seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the construction of a ground-up, branded hotel project in the Anderson, SC area. This individual will take primary responsibility for field operations, working independently with support from an experienced Project Manager based remotely.

Well-established general contractor with more than two decades of success delivering multifamily, commercial, education, and light industrial projects throughout the Carolinas. They are known for leveraging technology across all aspects of project delivery, creating an efficient and collaborative construction environment. This GC is seeking a Superintendent for an upcoming Hotel project in Anderson, SC.

Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a ground-up hotel project.
  • Manage daily field operations, schedules, quality control, safety, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary project leader on-site with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Partner with a Project Manager who will provide support and periodic site visits.
  • Utilize Procore extensively for project administration, communication, and documentation.
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings and weekly subcontractor meetings.
  • Maintain and organize project drawings, site photos, and progress documentation.
  • Process subcontractor back charges, billing, and invoicing through Procore.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide real-time updates throughout construction.
  • Drive project completion while maintaining schedule, quality, and profitability goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Superintendent experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Previous hotel construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience building branded or chain hotel projects is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead a project from groundbreaking through completion.
  • Advanced Procore proficiency required, including:
  • Meeting management
  • Drawing and document control
  • Photo documentation
  • Budget tracking
  • Subcontractor billing and invoicing
  • Back charge management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
  • Must be local to the Anderson/Greenville, SC area.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time throughout the duration of the project.
