We are seeking a Superintendent to support field operations on a large-scale ground-up multifamily development in Chapel Hill, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced project team while helping deliver a complex wood-frame project from construction through completion.

Job Description

    • Support day-to-day field operations on a large-scale ground-up multifamily development.
    • Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, and site activities to maintain project schedules.
    • Monitor and enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies.
    • Assist in managing quality control processes to ensure work meets project specifications.
    • Partner with project management teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
    • Track progress and help drive schedule adherence across multiple construction phases.
    • Facilitate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
    • Contribute to successful delivery of a complex wood-frame structure featuring podium construction and structured parking.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and productive jobsite environment.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
  • Experience working on large-scale wood-frame multifamily developments.
  • Strong understanding of site logistics, scheduling, quality control, and safety management.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and maintain progress on fast-paced projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience on podium, transfer deck, or structured parking projects.
  • Experience supporting projects with 200+ residential units.
  • Background working for a commercial general contractor focused on multifamily construction.
