Job Description

  • Manage all onsite construction activities from mobilization through turnover
  • Lead daily field operations and subcontractor coordination
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Project Management
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with all safety standards
  • Manage inspections, quality control, and punch list activities
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and municipal stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Monitor manpower, productivity, and jobsite logistics
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

The Successful Applicant

  • Superintendent experience on ground-up commercial construction projects
  • Municipal, civic, K-12, higher education, or institutional experience preferred
  • CMAR project experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and subcontractor management abilities
  • Experience managing complex schedules and multiple trade partners
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Stable work history with strong tenure
  • Experience with technology-driven project management tools
  • Proficiency with Procore preferred
  • Candidates from established regional or national contractors preferred
