Job Description

The Superintendent - OPM Firm - Connecticut will be responsible for

  • Lead on-site construction operations for $50M-$60M public K-12 projects
  • Oversee daily field activities, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and site safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, owners, and design teams
  • Monitor quality control and enforce project specifications
  • Drive project schedules and proactively address delays or risks
  • Build strong working relationships with local stakeholders and teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - OPM Firm - Connecticut should have

  • 5+ years of experience in a true Superintendent role
  • Proven track record delivering public K-12 construction projects ($20M+)
  • Strong tenure with reputable general contractors or similar firms
  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 certifications required
  • Experience managing ground-up institutional/public projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be based in or willing to work within Connecticut/Rhode Island markets
