Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for municipal and public-sector projects.
  • Manage daily field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within quality standards.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Enforce site safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve field issues to maintain project milestones.
  • Conduct site meetings and communicate project progress with project teams and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, project specifications, and local regulations.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
  • Foster strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Experience serving as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Prior experience managing municipal, public-sector, civic, educational, or similar institutional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, quality control, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Proven track record of delivering projects successfully in a Superintendent capacity.


  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience with CM at Risk (CMAR) delivery methods.
  • Background delivering town halls, public buildings, higher education, K-12, parks and recreation, fire stations, or similar civic projects.
  • Knowledge of Southeast construction markets.
