Job Description

  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project progress.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
  • Communicate project updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Travel extensively across the Southeast to oversee various projects.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to keep projects on track.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ground up retail, restaurant or gas station construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and construction regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work on-site as required.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address challenges on-site quickly.

What's on Offer

  • Base salary ranging from $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
  • Southeast travel per diem
  • Bonus that can exceed 50% of base salary
