Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day field operations on ground-up commercial and industrial projects
  • Lead all site activities from mobilization through final completion
  • Direct subcontractors and vendors to maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Coordinate project sequencing and site logistics
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules
  • Identify potential delays and implement corrective action plans
  • Ensure milestone dates and turnover deadlines are achieved
  • Oversee tilt wall construction activities, including planning, coordination, and execution
  • Manage concrete operations, structural components, and industrial building systems
  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and project requirements
  • Maintain a strong safety culture across all job sites
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
  • Monitor and enforce OSHA compliance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations
  • Work closely with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
  • Participate in project meetings and progress reviews

The Successful Applicant

  • Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven background in tilt wall construction
  • Experience delivering light industrial, warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, safety, and field operations
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Ground-up industrial project experience
  • Experience managing projects throughout the Southeast
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
