Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on active construction projects
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans/specifications
  • Enforce safety protocols and lead site safety meetings
  • Conduct quality control inspections and address deficiencies proactively
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress tracking, and site documentation
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, architects, and inspectors
  • Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts in a timely manner
  • Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple subcontractors on commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with projects such as healthcare, education, industrial, or commercial builds is preferred
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) is a plus
