Job Description

The Construction Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader for multifamily construction projects, overseeing all field operations from project start-up through closeout. The Superintendent will collaborate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, owners, architects, and inspectors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

  • Direct and manage all day-to-day construction activities on assigned multifamily projects.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and field issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing multifamily, apartment, mixed-use, or residential construction projects.
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Lancaster region.
