MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will possess:5+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial constructionStrong leadership and team management skillsProven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and site operationsThorough understanding of construction means, methods, and safety requirementsAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documentsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with commercial, institutional, or public-sector projectsHighly Preferred QualificationsDirect K-12 construction experienceExperience managing school additions, renovations, and new school constructionExperience working in occupied educational environmentsUnderstanding of school schedules, phasing requirements, and site safety around students and facultyFamiliarity with public school construction procedures and stakeholder coordinationK-12 experience is highly desirable for this role and will receive strong consideration during the hiring process. Candidates who have successfully delivered K-12 projects as a Superintendent will stand out significantly.
