  • Lead all field operations from project start through closeout, ensuring alignment with contract documents, project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and overall execution strategy.
  • Partner with Preconstruction teams on estimates, means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and project planning.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, and trade partners to drive successful execution, accountability, and timely completion.
  • Oversee site safety, quality control, and compliance programs, including OSHA standards, project-specific safety plans, and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and manage project schedules using Critical Path Method and Lean Scheduling principles, proactively identifying risks and implementing recovery plans.
  • Monitor procurement, material lead times, project documentation, and field coordination to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct daily reporting, weekly safety meetings, and trade partner coordination meetings to maintain productivity and project alignment.
  • Drive quality assurance through inspections, punch-list management, and adherence to contract specifications and industry standards.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, productivity, and overall project delivery.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including final punch lists, turnover, and completion requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-7+ years of lead Site Superintendent experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field
  • OSHA 30 certificate or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire.
  • Experience with education projects
  • Experience with master scheduling
  • Proficient in MS Office Platforms and Procore
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and drive project schedules
  • Knowledge of all elements of commercial construction and understanding of skilled trades.
