Job Description

  • Manage all day-to-day field operations for assigned construction projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and on-site personnel.
  • The superintendent will maintain project schedules and ensure milestone completion.
  • Enforce safety procedures and company safety standards.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with plans and specifications.
  • Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning activities.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor across Fort Lauderdale.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and job site safety procedures.
  • Proficiency with construction management technology and reporting tools.
