Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project closeout.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, site logistics, inspections, and project coordination.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while identifying and resolving potential delays.
  • Enforce company and project-specific safety standards and OSHA requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure construction is completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Lead regular subcontractor and OAC meetings.
  • Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project records.
  • Proactively identify issues and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Mentor and develop less-experienced field staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Strong mix of project experience rather than being limited to one construction sector.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex construction schedules.
  • Strong understanding of plans, specifications, sequencing, and construction means and methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • OSHA 30 and Procore experience preferred.
