Job Description

As a Building and Construction Superintendent, you will:

  • Lead daily field operations on assigned construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents
  • Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and workforce coordination
  • Track project progress and proactively resolve field challenges
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and stakeholders
  • Maintain daily reports and construction documentation
  • Oversee punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Building and Construction candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience
  • Strong experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities



Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-family construction experience
  • Mixed-use development experience
  • Experience with urban redevelopment projects
  • Background managing residential communities or apartment developments
  • Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools
