About Our Client

Our client is a premier general contractor local to Bridgehampton that specializes in ground-up custom homes and large-scale gut renovations, delivering highly detailed projects for discerning private clients.

Job Description

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee daily field operations on large custom residential projects.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and site logistics.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to plan.
  • Review architectural and construction drawings and identify field conflicts.
  • Enforce quality-control standards throughout every phase of construction.
  • Coordinate inspections and work with local building officials as required.
  • Monitor site safety and maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, architects, designers, and ownership.
  • Track progress, address issues in the field, and communicate updates to the project team.
  • Oversee punch list and closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of construction Superintendent experience.
  • Strong background in high-end residential construction.
  • Experience with ground-up custom homes and/or major gut renovations.
  • Strong knowledge of all major construction trades and building processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
  • Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
  • Experience building luxury homes in the Hamptons or similar high-end residential markets is a major plus.
