Job Description

The Superintendent's Key Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day field execution, driving projects safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field crews, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics to keep work moving
  • Build and manage 4-week look-aheads, proactively coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, and sequencing
  • Drive QA/QC and jobsite safety, ensuring work meets plans, specs, approved submittals, and OSHA requirements
  • Lead foreman, subcontractor, owner, architect, and pre-installation meetings to maintain alignment and accountability
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, regulatory requirements, and Certificate of Occupancy through final turnover
  • Partner directly with the PM on RFIs, submittals, change management, schedule updates, pay apps, and overall project execution

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Superintendent:

  • 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a track record of running projects ground-up through final turnover
  • Strong background in multifamily, senior living, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare construction
  • Proven experience with wood-frame construction and complex MEP coordination
  • Comfortable managing 4-week look-aheads, subcontractor sequencing, manpower, and field operations
  • Working knowledge of nurse call, low-voltage, and building technology systems
  • Strong field leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive subs and keep projects moving
  • Team-first, no-ego mentality - willing to jump in wherever needed to get the job done
