Job Description

As a Superintendent in Waterport, you will:

  • Lead all onsite construction activities from start to finish
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure milestone achievement
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications
  • Manage material deliveries, logistics, and site operations
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Lead subcontractor coordination and progress meetings
  • Identify, address, and resolve field issues proactively
  • Maintain daily reports and project documentation
  • Oversee punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience
  • Strong background in commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential construction
  • Proven ability to manage projects through all phases of construction
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices



Preferred Qualifications

  • Ground-up construction experience
  • Experience with renovation and occupied-space projects
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Construction Management degree or equivalent field experience
  • Experience using construction scheduling and project management software
