Job Description

As a Superintendent in Springwater, NY, you will:

  • Manage all day-to-day onsite construction activities
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Monitor productivity and project milestones
  • Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Lead subcontractor and progress meetings
  • Resolve field issues and coordinate solutions with project teams
  • Maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Oversee punch-list completion and project closeout efforts

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with managing construction projects in the property industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and organizational skillsThe ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, or multi-family projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
  • Proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools



Preferred Qualifications

  • Ground-up construction experience
  • Renovation and occupied-space project experience
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Construction Management degree or equivalent field experience
  • Experience with project scheduling software
