Job Description

As a Commercial Superintendent in Syracuse, NY you will:

  • Manage daily field operations and onsite construction activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor schedules and project progress.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and inspections.
  • Review RFIs, ASIs, and material submittals.
  • Track daily reports and project documentation.
  • Oversee punch list completion and project closeout.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Superintendent should have:

  • 3-5+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Experience on projects ranging from $250K to $5M.
  • Ability to read commercial construction drawings.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and schedules.
