Job Description

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations on industrial construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with Project Managers.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews.
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations across the jobsite.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and proactively identify potential safety, quality, or scheduling concerns.
  • Manage manpower, site logistics, equipment, and material deliveries.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning activities.
  • Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and quality records.
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout construction.
  • Oversee punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project closeout.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and productive jobsite culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of construction experience with a General Contractor.
  • 3+ years of experience serving as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
  • Proven experience managing industrial construction projects, including manufacturing facilities, processing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, or similar industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel, concrete, mechanical systems, process utilities, and industrial construction methods.
  • Experience managing large subcontractor teams and coordinating complex project schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to lead projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale industrial developments.
