Job Description

  • Lead supplier quality initiatives, ensuring strong performance and compliance
  • Partner with procurement to qualify, evaluate, and develop supplier networks
  • Track, analyze, and improve supplier performance metrics
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions for supplier-related quality issues
  • Conduct supplier audits and ensure follow-through on improvement plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams
  • Implement systems aligned with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, etc.)
  • Support strategic supplier reviews and long-term quality planning
  • Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain performance and reduce risk
  • Travel to supplier sites (up to 30%) to strengthen partnerships and processes

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS) preferred
  • 3+ years in supplier quality, manufacturing, or engineering
  • Experience with quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA QSR)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (electronics/mechanical)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with statistical tools (SPC, DOE, process capability)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Greenbelt) or Lead Auditor is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
