Job Description

  • Drive sales growth across Washington and Oregon by managing existing distributor relationships and developing new end-user accounts
  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations in the field, working directly with customers to improve process performance
  • Identify customer needs and deliver solution-based recommendations tailored to application requirements
  • Promote and expand adoption of new product lines, including adhesives, within existing accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, shop owners, and industrial customers
  • Manage a structured territory plan, including daily field activity and scheduled account visits
  • Track sales and pipeline activity using CRM and reporting tools
  • Gather and communicate competitive market intelligence (pricing, product trends, positioning)
  • Coordinate orders and pricing in partnership with distributors and internal teams
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of responsiveness and service
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and ongoing product training

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of experience in field-based or technical sales

Strong preference for backgrounds in:

  • Automotive aftermarket
  • Industrial supplies
  • Abrasives / surface prep
  • Marine or woodworking industries



Experience selling into:

  • Small to mid-sized industrial or shop environments
  • Consumables-driven businesses



Hands-on, technical mindset with the ability to:

  • Demonstrate products
  • Work in shop or manufacturing environments



Comfortable operating independently in a field-first role

Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Effective territory and time management abilities

Willingness to travel regularly within the region
