The Temporary Amazon Operations & Supply Chain Specialist will support the operations and supply chain team, focusing on daily operational activities, issue resolution, inventory management, and coordination across Amazon, planning, customer service, finance, and 3PL partners. This role is based in New York City, hybrid in the office 3 days a week.
  • 3-6 month temporary contract with extension opportunities.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day Amazon operational execution across Seller Central.
  • Monitor Amazon inventory receipts, shipments, and inbound performance, escalating and resolving issues where necessary.
  • Coordinate transfer orders and replenishment activities with Planning and 3PL.
  • Track/resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and receiving issues.
  • Support Amazon order management, compliance requirements, and reporting.
  • Partner with Finance on basic inventory reconciliations and variance investigations.
  • Maintain operational communication with Amazon, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners.
  • Support peak readiness activities and ensure inventory availability for promotional events.
  • Manage operational escalations and ensure timely resolution of execution-related issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Amazon Operations & Supply Chain Specialist should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer supply chain, order management, logistics, or Amazon operations.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with inventory and operational reports.
  • Comfortable working with 3PLs, planners, and customer-facing supply chain teams.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage day-to-day execution independently.

  • Hourly pay ranging from $38 - $47 per hour.
  • 3-6 month initial contract with strong possibility of extension or conversion full time.
