They operate on a global scale, working closely with customers to optimize complex projects for performance, efficiency, and long-term success.Job DescriptionDevelop, maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs for toolingProvides recommendations to improve tooling performance and efficiencyWorks with Foremen with scheduling of tool room personnelResponsible for controlling overtime and costs of the departmentsAssists with in-house design and fabrication of equipment and spare die componentsWorks closely with the EHS Manager to ensure safety is a top priority at the divisionParticipates as required in audits and inspectionsMonitors and reports status of tool room projectsAssesses performance of team and provides feedback and guidanceAssigns work requests and projects to the appropriate person.Ensures all paperwork and reporting are kept up to date and are completed in a timely fashionCommunicates goals, objectives and policies to their team members.Will oversee the tool room apprentice program.Works on the planning of personnel and identifying technical disciplines that are understaffed.
