The company focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable solutions to meet the specific needs of its customers.Job DescriptionIn this role you'll report directly into the Manufacturing Manager and be responsible for:Designing tooling, gauges, and machine adaptations to support manufacturing operations.Utilizing CAD software to create tooling designs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.Utilizing CAM software to generate CNC machine code for tooling manufacture.Managing prototype and production tooling projects while maintaining rigorous timelines.Troubleshooting manufacturing processes and implementing corrective actions to improve performance.Overseeing the design and development of tooling solutions from concept through production.Participating in the APQP process to ensure tooling is delivered on time and meets design requirements.Collaborating with production teams to develop and refine new tooling designs.Developing and maintaining tooling standards using lessons learned to improve quality and reduce scrap.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and performing additional related duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
