Job Description

  • Support tooling development and optimization
  • Troubleshoot tooling-related production issues
  • Coordinate tool modifications and repairs
  • Improve tool life and performance
  • Support new product launches
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tooling Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Tool Design, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting tooling in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with tooling modifications, repairs, and optimization
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and project management skills



Preferred

  • Experience with injection molding, stamping, die casting, or machining operations
  • CAD software experience
  • New product launch experience
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Continuous Improvement experience
