Job Description

    • Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects.
    • Manage project schedules and drive progress to achieve critical milestones.
    • Oversee subcontractor performance, coordination, and daily field operations.
    • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of construction.
    • Enforce safety procedures and maintain a culture of jobsite safety.
    • Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
    • Conduct site meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
    • Oversee inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
    • Monitor manpower, logistics, and site sequencing to maximize efficiency.
    • Maintain project documentation utilizing construction management technology platforms.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects as a Superintendent.
    • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
    • Experience overseeing larger-scale apartment developments, including garden-style, wrap, podium, or similar multifamily product types.
    • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, safety, and subcontractor management.
    • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Carolinas as project needs require.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.



    Preferred Experience

    • Experience on multifamily projects exceeding 200 units.
    • Background with well-established commercial or multifamily general contractors.
    • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
    • Exposure to healthcare or commercial construction projects.
    • Stable employment history with demonstrated long-term tenure.
