We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia. Job Description

    • Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout.
    • Manage project schedules, subcontractors, safety programs, and quality control initiatives.
    • Coordinate daily field operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
    • Oversee commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $5M to $25M in value.
    • Travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia to support project execution.
    • Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to project challenges and field coordination.
    • Ensure compliance with all company safety and operational standards.

The Successful Applicant



Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience serving as a Lead Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Proven experience with ground-up commercial construction.
  • Experience delivering large retail, grocery, industrial, or big-box projects.
  • Ability and willingness to travel Monday through Friday throughout the Southeast region.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, site safety, and field operations.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience working on grocery store or large retail construction projects.
  • Background managing renovations and occupied-space construction.
  • Stable work history demonstrating strong tenure with previous employers.
  • Experience overseeing projects for nationally recognized retail or grocery clients.
