An established and growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join their field leadership team. This organization has a strong project pipeline and a reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across multiple markets.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations from start to finish
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a strong safety culture
  • Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (nationwide)
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and site coordination
  • Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA certification or similar safety training preferred
