Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Leadership team, the Traveling Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities from project mobilization through turnover.

  • Lead day-to-day field operations on ground-up retail and big-box construction projects
  • Manage subcontractor performance, site logistics, and project sequencing
  • Drive project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and jobsite compliance
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, permitting, and turnover activities
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to proactively resolve field issues and maintain project objectives
  • Travel extensively to support projects throughout assigned territories

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up retail, big-box, grocery, warehouse, or large-format commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of site development, foundations, structural systems, and building envelope construction
  • Ability to lead projects from sitework through final completion
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining aggressive schedules
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
  • Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction technology platforms
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments
