Job Description

  • Site Supervision: Manage and oversee multiple retail construction projects throughout the Northeast region, primarily in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, suppliers, store management teams, and client representatives.
  • Quality Control : Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Schedule Management: Conduct project planning, scheduling, and weekly progress meetings.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and site records.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 3 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing big box retail projects, including clients such as Walmart, Amazon, grocery chains, or similar retailers.
  • Strong background in open-store remodels, renovations, store expansions, and new construction.
  • Ability to effectively manage subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and project logistics across multiple sites.
  • Comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for clients and store leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Northeast region (Maine to Maryland).
  • Flexibility to work either day or night shifts based on project requirements.
  • Strong understanding of construction best practices, safety standards, and project execution.
