Job Description

  • Manage all aspects of big box retail construction projects from start to finish.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide progress updates.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Resolve on-site issues and implement solutions promptly.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Proven experience leading ground-up big box retail construction projects required
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Southeast or nationally for project assignments
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and large jobsite teams
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Knowledge of scheduling software, construction management platforms, and field technology
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
